Just a FYI

I've cut my friends list down a bit: I don't think any of those removed will mind, since they were mainly people who had removed me, or who I've never spoken to. :-) Besides which, I'm finding I have less&less time for livejournal at the moment, and my friends list was getting a little overwhelming.

Date: 2004-05-24 10:45 pm (UTC)*nods* I was at uni of melbourne and it's about 30,000 students so yeah... you can see how you lose people. You do have to make the most of it though! I've been working abotu two years now and really only keep in touch with two or three people from uni, but it's still nice to know them! :) I did comm/law and for some reason, it was way easier to keep track of people from my law classes... I think it was a much smaller intake or something, it was nice, anyway. :)

Date: 2004-05-25 08:40 am (UTC)right now I'm doing an arts/law degree, but I've deferred law so I can do two majors in arts - and arts is really diverse, so it's hard to see the same people in different sessions, but I really liked first year law because it's a smaller faculty, and you see the same people all the time. But I figure it'll be like you say when I graduate - I'll only keep in contact with those people who really stand out.
Where are you working now, if you don't mind me asking?
btw, I've added you as a friend :)

Date: 2004-05-25 10:29 pm (UTC)I'm working at a medium sized law firm in Melbourne, doing articles. I don't think you do that in sydney, but it's basically your graduate year.
yeah, the arts fac at my uni was huuuugge. and you can go in so many different directions with arts, you're never going to see the same people. at least in law, you know everyone is going to do torts, property, contracts, all the basics!
